Emotional Peace |
~ Individual Sessions ~ Individual Sessions are usually handled in-person, in the office. However, sessions can be done very successfully by telephone. When at all possible, we do like to see people here in the office, at least once, to make sure they understand how EFT and TAT are done and what their personal goals and issues might be. However, we have a number of clients that live in any number of the 50 states, where the travel and distance make "in-person" session impractical. The initial session is approximately 90 minutes and is the setting in which we review using EFT and / or TAT in the context of one's personal history, goals and issues. Follow-up sessions are scheduled based on each individual person's needs and goals. Follow-up sessions are usually 60 minutes in length, but many clients prefer to schedule 90 or 120 minute sessions to allow time for more in-depth work or when coming long distances. You can check with the office for our current fees or click below. Before the first session, we recommend you print out the "Tapping Points" diagram for use with EFT and "The Pose" for use with TAT, and familiarize yourself with both. We will need to have your completed intake / history form, as well as a signed original copy of the Waiver Form. Pre-payment arrengements must be made with the office for people opting for phone sessions. For sessions at the office, fees are payable at the time of service. Most major credit cards are accepted. |
Disclaimer: EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) are just two of several new treatment techniques, collectively referred to as Energy Therapies. ~ Mentoring for EFT Students ~ |
For those people who are pursuing the training and certification program in EFT, or who are eager to learn how to do EFT in an effective manner, Lisa is available to provide mentoring in the form of personal instruction and guidance. The worldwide standard for learning EFT is via the official 140 hour DVD-based instructional program from Gary Craig. While the basic mechanics of EFT are easily learned and can be surprisingly effective, even at the "beginner" stage, learning to use EFT effectively can take considerable time if you plan to use it with others. It is important to understand that the totality of EFT cannot be taught in a day or a weekend seminar and there are no day or weekend EFT instructional seminars that are officially endorsed by Gary Craig. There is good reasons for this. Practitioners teaching such classes tend to teach EFT through the "lens" of how they see things and modified to suite their "style". If you keep this in mind, such seminars and interactive settings can supplement your skill development, provide a forum to ask questions, and enable you to receive valuable feedback as you progress. Please contact the office for more information if you are interested in the mentoring program. |
